Elizabeth Hogan 2008 Kim Miller Memorial Award Recipient
Kim Miller loved synchro and the Hamden Heronettes. Her mom always said
that Kim was the happiest when she was swimming. Synchronized Swimming
and the Hamden Heronettes were such an important part of her life, that
she was laid to rest in her HHC uniform. All Kim wanted to do was swim
synchro. No one could keep Kim away from the pool, even during the
toughest periods of her illness.
Liz Hogan loves synchro and the Hamden Heronettes. No one can keep her
away from the pool. She attends practice even on her days off, whether
it's to help out with the other teams, swim laps to continue her
conditioning, or to work on figures or parts of her routines on her
own. She is truly dedicated to the sport and her team.
We proudly award Elizabeth Hogan the Kimberly R. Miller Memorial Award
for 2008.
