at the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain Printable Version Congratulations to the following recipients of the scholarship: * 2007 – Corinne Smith * 2008 – Jessica Grogan * 2009 – Kirsten Wendth * 2010 – Deanna DeSimone Thanks to the many generous donations, we are well on our way to making this fund self-supporting; meaning that once there is enough money in the fund, the scholarship earns the interest needed in order to pay out the scholarship each year. But, we need your help! The Miller Family has donated the scholarship money for 2007, 2008, & 2009, and is committed to donating the scholarship in 2010 in order to keep Kim’s memory alive in the sport of synchronized swimming. We are asking each club hosting an Association, Regional, Zone or Invitational meet this season, to have a Kim Miller Synchronized Swimming Scholarship raffle. This can be a basket raffle, a 50/50 raffle, or any other raffle idea that you choose. A donation box is also a great way to help build the fund.
