Summer 2026 Intro Class!

Were you inspired by the USA Women's Artistic Swimming Team winning Silver at the Summer 2024 Olympics and want to learn more?

Please join the Hamden Heronettes and try this introductory class to learn the basics of artistic swimming, we'd love to have you!

There are 8 sessions that meet for an hour each at the Hamden High school pool.

​What is Artistic Swimming?

Artistic swimming, formerly known as synchronized swimming, combines grace and athletic strength with creativity and endurance.

Our goal is to improve fitness, self-esteem, and inspire a competitive spirit. While accomplishing these goals, the athletes also learn teamwork, have fun, make long-lasting friendships, and meet other athletes from around the country.
